Stone grinder - It is effective. Pastes and chutneys can be easily made and also there is a change in taste as compared to using mixie. It was also clean, so didn’t have to spend too much time doing seasoning. Extremely satisfied with the purchase. Packing and delivery was excellent. If l had to give a product suggestion - l would suggest that you could consider changing the shape of the pestle a bit curvaceous on the top because while using, your hands tend to be wet and then when we have to lift the pestle, we may not get a complete grip on it. So, if the shape is slightly curvaceous on the top, then one can easily lift it just using one hand.

2016 – 2018 | The Beginning & First Lessons
In 2016, Vijai Pannerselvam and Saranya Subbaiya left their IT careers and returned to their village.
They saw a gap the world had forgotten — genuine, eco-friendly products rooted in Indian tradition.
With one small idea and a big belief, Village Decor was born.
In 2017, our very first Tanjore doll order arrived broken.
Instead of giving up, we learned how to pack fragile handmade products safely and began delivering across India through Amazon & Flipkart.
2018 – 2020 | Going Global & Building a Team
Village Decor entered Amazon.com's global sales, bringing Indian home decor and traditional drinkware to customers worldwide.
Our first employee joined the journey — dedicated to packaging every order with care.
This was the beginning of building a trusted team, one step at a time.
2020 - 2022 | A Turning Point
During the pandemic, people slowly turned back to wellness and natural living.
Village Decor grew rapidly with 300+ traditional products inspired by Indian kitchens and heritage.
2022 - 2024 | Growing Beyond Marketplaces
We launched villagedecor. in and villagedecor.com to connect directly with customers worldwide. This phase became all about research, learning, and improving every product with care.
2024 - 2025 | The Community We Built
Village Decor was no longer a small home business.
What started with 2 people became a growing family
50+ artisans crafted our products.
20+ employees worked like family.
A dedicated support team answered every customer question with care.
Our community grew from 5K to 150K+ people within just 6–7 months — all connected by a love for natural living.
